UPS tracking says my order from San Jose touched down in Greensboro, NC today...an hour west of here...if I don't have it when I get home tomorrow night I should definitely have it Friday so I can pattern test it Saturday AM in a full choke .62cal.

Advertsied as a direct replacement for lead shot, I should be able to recheck my pattern with a couple shots of lead magnum #6s, then pattern check the Nice-Shot...if it works as advertised I'll only have to shoot a couple shots to know.

Then while at the range, with a fired .62cal smoothbore on the bench, I'll run a few .600" patched balls through that 'Full' Jug Choked barrel to try and get some answers to the question of what affect a Jug Choke has on PRB accuracy

It sounds like it may be good stuff; espicially being a direct exchange for lead. It is a little pricey but for hunting I could live with the price. Keep us posted on your results. :hatsoff:

I'm looking forward to your report. Please take lots of photos. I love photos

Well, very disappointed to say that the "brown truck" didn't stop here today !

My truck is already loaded with all the supplies needed for a range trip, and for pattern testing...but no Nice-Shot' to test...have to wait until next weekend for that and just shoot something else tomorrow...

Too bad it didn't arrive. Did they send you a tracking number? Do you know where it is now?

Still showing Greensboro as the last listing...not to worry...I have a very similar situation for tomorrow after all.

I remembered I also need to fine tune a dove/crow load in a different barrel using some Lawerance brand copper plated #6's I originally got for turkeys...but it turned out to be very cheap quality stuff and patterns thinner than regular magnum lead #6's...acts like 7.5's...couldn't use it for 40 yard turkey's but I can use it for doves/crows. This other .62/.20ga barrel is jug choked half way between IC and Mod...sort of an I.C.+...
