The baggie isn't PC, but you improvised with what you had and solved the problem very well. And that is PC.

And your use of that baggie is a whole lot more effective and efficient than what I would have come up with in the same circumstance. :hatsoff:

I assume that if the deer had shown up, you would have fired with the baggie still in place?

The thought did occur.
The sights were still visible. If a deer had showed up close I probably would have fired with it on. If I had time I would have taken it off.

I bet it would have melted some. :haha:
 
I have not ever used a zip lock that way but I have eaten the Oreos.

Genius. I would of probally wrapped duct tape around and then got mad it didnt fire..
