I have a problem with a barrel from an Enfield p. 53 (year of manufacture 1860). The bore is preserved quite well, but I can see rusty dirt inside (not sure if this is rust). I have already tried cleaning with a nylon brush and a copper brush. The rusty tarnish disappeared a little, but the effect was mediocre.
What do you guys think I should use? I'm still thinking about using the brush more thoroughly and longer or about evapo-rust.
