A local pawn shop has a Euro Arms Jäger Kentuckian flintlock in .45 cal with 35"barrel for sale. Was just wondering if they are of good quality? I've been look for my first flintlock and this one appears to be in nice shape. Thanks, Robert

Look back about 4-6 weeks, as my twin bro (Old No7) had bought one for $250 and Zonie and others had given him some positive info.

His takes an oddball size, more of a 44 caliber size, but for the money it was a steal! For him it will be an ideal flint starter, as it is his 1st ... and hopefully not last one :) .

I'm Flint62's twin...

One just sold on GunBroker for $355, and that's the 2nd one I've seen sold there within the last 4 months.

If you can get it for a good price like I did, buy it!!!

Try 0.433" balls and 0.020" patches with 3F real black.

Tight groups! :hatsoff:

I built a rifle around a used barrel from a Euroarms Kentuckian. It is a true .45 cal, I believe some of the early ones imported were .44. It is very accurate.
