Can't put a spacer on that then can ya...HeHe!
I follow you it's just like my Target Model Pietta. It doesn't slide front to back then screw down to adjust height correct. Only adjustment is from the rear. Probly have ta work on the rear site then.

Yep, no go on the front sight. I ground a bit off the bottom of the rear sight and that lowered it some. I need to go back out and try it now and see how close it is. Had to do the same thing with the Pietta Target model i had.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I have a Euroarms '58 Remington Target that I bought new back in '73 (that's 1973 not 1873, I ain't that old!).

It seems that everyone is focused (no pun intended) on the front sight and raising it. I mentioned getting rid of that Fancy Dan rear sight and replacing it with a sight filed out of a piece of aluminum "T" section, and it has worked fine for me all these 33 long years.

There's only so much you can do to that rear sight to make the gun shoot lower, and you will still have to try to raise the front sight which in my humble opinion is high enough as it is.

Give it a try, ya might like it!

Dryball

Dryball, i found a short fixed sight that almost worked in the dovetail except i had done some filing on it long ago. So i know i can find one that will fit it. It was quite a bit lower than the adjustable sight is. Only problem was it just looks kind of strange to me with the rear sight sitting that far forward, but it will most likely solve the problem. Take care.

Hello folks,
For parts for Armi San Marco:

They have no internet site or e-mail. So you have to call them. I did and they assured me that they have a good supply.
Every thing I ordered came in correct.
