The Royal Armouries in Leeds has some good examples from the latter days of the matchlocks service life in the western world (i.e. the close of the 17th century to the beginning of the 18th century). Below are two similar pieces from ca. 1690, both made by a Dutch manufacturer and imported to England for military service:
