English gunsmiths called all screwdrivers turn screws regardless of size and I believe they still do , Is the turn screw you are thinking of the Jaw Screw on a flintlock ? I carry a set of turn screws for internal lock work as well as the lock nails and jaw screws

I don't care what the Brits call a screwdriver, we Americans call a turn screw the device that is used for changing flints. Maybe we're just simple minded?! We also don't cherish high tea and crumpets.
