It takes quite a bit of effort to get it all the way down the barrel. It's been this way since I got it, and it has shot great (three inches benched at 100 yards), but I want the ease of loading that some of you have. Plus I don't like the shredded patches.

Herb, I can't for the life of me find cotton balls as small as you are describing. But being of American stock, I will make do.
