Hello from the North Georgia mountains. I grew up hunting river swamps in Florida and South Mississippi. I started muzzleloader hunting in 1980 with .50 caliber flintlock rifle. The Army brought me to North Georgia in 1995 and I've since added a .50 TC Renegade. Currently have a barrel with Mr. Hoyt getting converted to a .62 smoothbore, this will be my first experience with smoothbores. I came across this sight while researching information and was impressed with the wealth of knowledge. I look forward to learning more and maybe being able to provide some help to others.

Which part of north georgia? You got like minded folks at Blue Ridge mtnmen and the Talking Rock BPshooters up thata way you can shoot with. Good folks both places...

Welcome friend! Please come visit us in Talking Rock sometime. Great bunch of people and you can shoot standing or bench.

jdw276 I'm in Dahlonega. I saw those clubs listed on the NMLRA sight. I'll try to get to one of their shoots.

Welcome from SW MO. I grew up in SC and worked at the hospitals in Toccoa and Hiawassee. There used to be a restaurant called the Deer Lodge that was as my favorite place to eat.
