This is the second of the rifles that I started many years ago and then stopped because of what I was learning here.  (Original story is here and I won't repeat it    http://www.muzzleloadingforum.com/fusionbb/showtopic.php?tid/272622/).  As before, I had started several parts of this rifle long ago and am just trying to do the best I can with what I have.  The stock is fairly well shaped and most parts inletted.  Before I make some other decisions, I thought I would engrave a few parts trying to incorporate lessons learned on my last rifle.
Lock, side plate, and rear ram rod pipe using less overall engraving and more traditional designs. Â Not there yet, but making forward progress.
