Trader's row, not too large.

Someone did not think much of in$&@#*, lends new meaning to the term, "shot to hell".

Log Cabin Shop out of Lodi, OH

Weather was cool with threat of rain, but only a few drops on Friday, nil up to about noon when I left today.

Took some pics on the firing line, but not much activity on various ranges when I was there.

Nope, that's Tip, and when we tell guy's to check him out when they want a gun in the white, that one picture is probably only 5% of what he has in the white. Super, super nice to deal with.

That blue stuff in some of the backgrounds... it's been awhile, but is that stuff called "Sky"???

I think he said he has hundreds back in the shop, he is a font of information on building and does not hesitate to share. I really liked the looks of the new lock he is now using, it was designed and is made by a local machinist there in TN and workmanship of the lock is excellent.

I think that is what it is called, but was transitory while I was there so never really got a fix on it. :winking:

Thanks for sharing those photos. I've driven by the Ben Avery Range, but have never gone to it (Didn't carry my smokepoles on vacation).

It is a very nice and well laid out shooting complex with great facilities.

Quite a contrast as to when I lived in Phoenix and it came into being back in the 1960's. Was called Black Canyon shooting range then, and was just a primitive affair out there in the desert. When buddies & I first started going to it, there was normally not even anyone there to supervise etc.

Too bad traders row drops a little each year. I think it has to do with the fact that this is a shooters event. Traders do well at Rondys where the "Touristas" come in and buy things to hang on the wall. You see few if any "Pilgrams" at this one.
What you do see is some of the best B/P shooters in the west. I just wish I was one of them
Oh, well I will try again next year, Just Maybe?

When I see this pics I know what is going wrong in GE, and that I live in the wrong country.

Nevertheless greetings from GE. :(

Just an update, I was there yesterday (Sat) and the morning was hoppin with both "skinners" and visitors. Traders row is bigger this year than last, it seems to ebb and flow that way. I always get worried about it when it's small, it's the best thing going around here for a buyin the necessaries...... It's going to be a huge loss if it ever goes under

Thats just a good reason & excuse for you Germany boys to come over & visit us here sir!

Nice pictures anyone know what the "in the white rifles" sell for?

If recall right, all of Tip's rifles were priced for less than a thousand bucks.

My first time there, so have no comparison as to previous doings, just expected it to be larger for a national organization gathering.

I did manage to do my part and drop a few hundred bucks on sundry items while there.

Dont belive the last 2 yrs here weve had pic's of it just how bad it was. (lot of talk - no pics ) Thanks much for the pics! What the heck does the thing under the in :cursing: say?? Again Thanks. FRED :hatsoff:

It was pretty small and rather disappointing the NMLRA could not do it up better. Talked to a couple locals who said they had heard about it only by word of mouth & never saw any advertising for it. It was not altogether geared to traditional, I never saw it, but was told they were even holding inline shooting matches. :shake:

Sign said, "We shoot inlines, for free" the inline was shot to pieces and duct taped back together. :winking:

I agree it is dissapointing, everbody I know would love to have something bigger but I guess this is the best we can support (even despite my yearly contributions  ). It is the biggest event in the state that I'm aware of with the Bill Williams rondy as a distant second . The state club wasn't to bad either but it still wasn't as big.
