Zonie said:One of the biggest problems with getting people out to see the matches and visit Trader's Row is the NMLRA doesn't send the local newspaper any information about the matches.
Last year, I wrote to the newspaper's Sports Editor and they did publish the dates of the event but this year it snuck up on me so I didn't think about telling them about it until it was too late.
Actually, the NMLRA SHOULD send them a publicity package a month or more before the meet to get the kind of publicity they need to have.
Oh, as everyone is always interested in powder prices, the GOEX and Schutzen powder were selling for $12/pound and the Swiss was selling for $16/pound. Pretty cheap when you compare it to the Synthetic powders that are going for up to $24/pound at the local gun stores.
Sorry I missed you Tan.

Actually if the NMLRA want to Get their S**T together they would hire a Local Phoenix AREA PR Firm, and have the PR Firm Promote the Event on Radio, Newspaper, and TV. But that cost money, and like I said the PHX Shoot is a ******* STEP CHILD that does not deserve the money it would take to have PR Professional do a Professional PR JOB...
BTW ZOWIE nice effort last year, but you would think the BOD was more concerned about a Successful Event than a Lone Member... :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:
