I did a search and could not find my answer, so I applogize if this has been covered, What do you use for fiber wad lube?

I use a 50/50 mix of Mineral Spirits and Veggie Oil.........Just give them a squeeze or two and load.

I use olive oil. In time veg. oil gets a little rancid. But, it does work well.

I use Wonder Lube on my fiber wads, only I lube them this way...

A freind of mine uses peanut oil, it will withstand high temps and leaves no residue.
says it works great, he can shoot all day without wiping the bore.

I have used leather overpowder wads and soak them in Murphys Oil Soap. Works good.

Some shooters keep their wads in a small jar of windex. I just stick a couple in my mouth (spit wads) so they are ready for my next shots.

I've been using Crisco on mine. I melt the Crisco, put the wads in the pan to let them soak up all they will, then place them on paper plates covered with paper towel to soak up any excess. They are somewhat dry to the feel when done, but you can see the lube in them when you start them down the barrel.Works good in my Navy SxS 12! I keep them in an Altoids tin that I burned the paint off of on the grill.

Yeah, I've been known to stick a fiber wad in my mouth and soak it with saliva when busting clay pigeons.
