Well I got a late start and when I pulled in to the hunting area a buck was running down the tree line right in front of me. I got out and loaded the rifle and got all my gear ready. I started walking down the direction the deer was headed and about 10 minutes later two bucks bust out of a thicket to the east of me and run out in front of me. The bigger one stops behind some brush so I side step and aim and fire. Then an even larger buck runs out of the same thicket in front of me.

Anyway I shot a smal 5X4 whitetail and my ML season is now officially over for the season.

I shot two does with the ML in Oct and now this one buck this year. I had a great time this year and look forward to next.

Thanks guys, I was hunting alone and forgot to take pictures when I got it home. It sure was fun though. There is nothing more exciting than waiting for the smoke to clear to see if the deer is running or down. :)

One of these days I will get some pictures of the actual hunt.
