My left arm doesn't work between the shoulder and elbow. I wasn't in much hurry as I haven't figured out just how is the best way to shoot it! Plan on getting help from the grand kids to do the shooting.

What was the trickiest part of using the scrapers? Also, what did you use to prevent rust the underside of the barrel if you used anything at all?

I just used as little pressure as I could and followed the grain. I waxed the barrel and the barrel channel to help keep the rust at a minimum.
 
Thanks for all the kind comments on my Colonial rifle. Hope that I get to put one of Jim's upcoming smoothbores. I gave my self a SMR for my 75th birthday and the Colonial was for my 80th.
