Finished a Pedersoli Trade Musket kit

Most trade gun serpentine side plates were surface mounted.

Ive tried to inlet one with some failure, its a tough cut, lots of curves. For filling in the gaps, I welded some brass on the plate to make the plate cover the gap spot, Hartley noticeable unless I point it out.

Love a smoothy. A 20 bore roundball will solve almost any problem you’d need in the woods, be it have feathers, four legs, two legs (if it comes to that), or even no legs (snakes and daemons).
