Finished Powder Horn (#10)

Still waiting for several rifle kits to arrive so I started work on another horn- This is my tenth recently made horn and I like how it turned out. I am getting a little more comfortable with my nail-in-a-stick engraving thing
I like the motif of the lad bird hunting in the corn field, as well as the inscription. I couldn't think of what to put on the opposite side panel and I finally decided to do a map.
It is of the area I grew up in NJ.

Thanks James. I prefer to have the longer white body like on this one, but sometimes the horns wont work out that way. No two are alike (a good thing actually).

The trick is getting a little burr at the nail tip. Then it's much better. (Oh, and a cup of java.)
