Laurel Mountain Forge Cherry stain, then Aqua Fortis over top. blushed and burnished, then good old Tru Oil 6 coats.

That rifle is gonna make your fireplace look bad! Stunning rifle. Where did you source the stock?

I bought that stock here from a member. am ashamed not remembering who that was but i wish to thank who ever it was.
my fireplace is a ugly black wood stove! i do have an antique clothes dryer that hangs on the wall next to the stove. I use it for drying stuff like browning barrels and coats of oil.
remembered where i got it. thank you my friend from NC!

dovetailed the sights in and installed them.
took it out and shot it 5 times at 50 yards. first two shots were finding site picture. the upper three shots were holding dead center of the bull. seems i got the sights right. my wife and best friend was lavish with her praise of this build so i gave it to her. she wants to hang it over our living room painting. may be my last build. we will see I suppose.

You better behave yourself or she might decide to use it on you lol .
