Congratulations, awesome result to a great project
https://www.muzzleloadingforum.com/threads/finished-the-thumper-project.167020/Great hunt!
Love your little Thumpers!
Couple of questions.
110 by weight or volume?
Bullet fit? How tight are your bullets to the bore?
What are your velocities averaging? I have some very old 777 and would like to compare velocities.
I have a 54 Thumper project to get back to,[24" 1-36 twist] been looking at the Accurate 54-477S mold.
I may try some NE 485s in .542.
A .541 gage pin will slide in, but the .542 won't.
Thanks, for your time.
No BS
Thank You,https://www.muzzleloadingforum.com/...arbine-velocity-results-chronographed.159742/
By volume, using. . 542 ne, they engrave on loading. The links will answer most of your questions.
No. But my procedure was as follows: at 50 yards initial sighting, accuracy estimate and velocities. If I found a load that met my velocity requirements and showed promise in accuracy then to 100 yards for accuracy developmentThank You,
I did a search, cause I remember more info., but didn't find it.
I will have to get some T7 fff, it is much faster than my 90FF Goex.
Did the Magneto speed affect the point of impact?
