Is it safe to fire a flintlock in a blind? I’ve never hunted with my FLs in one of my pop-up blinds because I assumed the blast from the touch hole would damage the blind and/or risk injury to me or one of the kids I hunt with. But recently there’s been articles in two reputable publications that mentioned shooting deer with a FL from blinds. So am I worried about nothing or were these writers being reckless?

I imagine it'll be smokier than all get out for a bit if you've only got one window opened. But I doubt you'll set it on fire.

Yes, it turns your blind into a Cheech & Chong Movie.
