First day of muzzleloader season here.

The fog was as thick as soup this morning, so I decided to head out anyway. I got to my property jumped in the utv and headed to my blind. got all settled in waited until just before daylight and primed my SMR. Just after daylight, I heard some turkeys gobble a few minutes later I was surrounded by a flock of 12-15. fun to watch but not legal. I stayed until about 11
didn't see any deer. As I loaded up I decided to de-prime the rifle and opened the frizzen the prime looked like black goo from absorbing so much fog, kinda' glad I didn't see a deer I would not have been happy.

Went out like you Andy saw 1 buck and a coyote. This evening is a lot nicer.

Didn't head out this evening I had too much to do. I'll go again in the morning, but I think I'll take a cap lock.
