First ML Received

Received my first ML today: .54 cal Cabelas percussion. Looks unfired, but a few nicks here and there. I am going to try to post pics from flickr account. The second pic shows a plugged hole under the stock. Could it be from a sling attachment?I don't know.

Yes, the plugged hole appears to be from a sling swivel. Someone did a very poor job of plugging the hole.

As an aside - who put that rubber butt-pad on the gun...? It looks after-market and not installed very well either.

Not sure who put the butt pad on.

I have to work this week, but will work the pad. I'm not sure I need one.

Gonna clean the barrel with water before hitting the range this weekend if my bass pro has supplies I need. If not I'll order online.
