Last month I went out to the monthly shoot with the Puget Sound Free Trappers at the Capitol City Gun Club south of Olympia. I went just for a look see and well, you can guess the rest.
Yesterday I returned for this month's shoot and brought my .54 cal. T/C Renegade with me. Being a greenhorn to muzzleloading, I was able to provide a bit of humor to the more seasoned members of the group with my general fumbling and overall lack of skill. I finished dead last in the shoot but had the most fun I have had in a long time and really learned a lot.
Whoever owned the rifle before me really had the sights cockeyed. It was shooting way high and to the left. After I got it sighted in from the bench, it will now put those .530 RB's into a nice tight little group in and around the bullseye. I still have to learn to do my part but am working on it.
I am learning a whole lot from this forum, as well. Thanks to all who have answered my questions and to those who have asked and answered all the questions I haven't had to.
