first squirrel with new flintlock

I put some blood on my new 40 this morning. 30gr. of swiss prb off hand and about 30yds up a tree flat on a limb, "the squirrel was on the limb not me" ha ha,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Now that would have been much more impressive, lol!

Nice shot! Thirty yards is a pretty good poke at the squirrel sized target with open sights. Beautiful rifle too by the way!

Please come to my neck of the woods. I must've seen 3 dozen squirrels yesterday while deer hunting with my flintlock. I know where I'l be when late small game reopens.
