As a shotgun.75 on squirrels.
What happened? Couldn't find your mountain howitzer.
Enjoy your tasty gray morsels.
I would hope so.As a shotgun
I use to put 2oz in mine for serious work!I would hope so.
How much weight in lead shot will that thing hold?
poor little guy hit with such a large weapon. should have been a larger one.Long time since I've been here. This my first squirrel with my Pedersoli Bess, a retirement gift from my wife this year. (70g 2f, 80g #6 shot, paper shot cup)
Nice! I am sure she is happy her gift is being put to good work!Long time since I've been here. This my first squirrel with my Pedersoli Bess, a retirement gift from my wife this year. (70g 2f, 80g #6 shot, paper shot cup)
2nd model bess, 4 inches shorter than 1st modelVery nice! Is that the full length Bess or carbine? Nice gift. I got a Bess carbine this last fall as a wife endorsed self-gifted birthday present. Sounds like we both did well in the spouse department. I'm planning to take mine out after grouse, as our scrawny red squirrels would probably be outweighed by the shot fired at them. The Bess probably won't improve on my previous lousy grouse hunting results with a modern gun but I'll feel a lot cooler walking around in the woods with it..
