I've read a few people remove their barrel once a year or after they have hunted in the wet. I just filled the space with wax toilet bowl gasket material - no moisture and no need to remove the barrel.M.D. said:I don't know about others but I have never seen a gun of any type that does not get moisture, fouling and dirt down under the wood over time and use.
