I just acquired a 50 cal. Austin-Halleck Mountain Rifle. I shot it at last weekend and it is a shooter! Accurate and good ignition. I don't see a listing at Track Of The Wolf for the correct flint for this gun. This is my first flinter...any suggestions?

Measure the flint in the rifle you shot and look at the Possible Shop, he is a "BOARD" sponsor.

You can also measure the width of the cock jaws.
That will give you at least one of the dimensions, ie 5/8", 3/4" etc. Then you decide if a "square" flint, or rectangular would be better, based on how the flint fits at half cock. The edge of the flint should be within about 1/16" from the frizzen. Good luck, have fun.

I had one of the AH flinters and I believe the flint is the same size as the Large Siler. 3/4" square or 3/4" x 7/8. Good shooting guns. Enjoy.
