How wide is the frizzen. No need to be wider than that

5/8 × 3/4 is right. I've never tried 3/4 wide flints. That WOULD be wider than the frizzen.
I wish the gun took bigger flints. Bigger flints last longer. In my Dixie I get 25-30 shots per flint.
