Hi I'm new to posting here, have read extensivly, anyway today at the range an older gentlman was explaining how much better inlines and sub powder is. But all I heard was cursing trying to get a sabot dowwn bore I could get 3 to 1 shots down range with my flint, in the black I might add, guess I don't see the advantage

In-lines are better in every mechanical way - but they have no spirit, no soul and no connection to the history and past like flintlocks do.

If you just want to extend your season, shoot in-lines. If you want to extend your skills and expand your mind, shoot flintlocks.
