FWIW this is timely, as I just finished reading my autographed 2nd edition last night! I resisted buying this book for years and finally broke down and bought one in person from Eric at last year's New England Flintlock Championship Shoot.

I am AMAZED at the amount of historical and experiential information he has jammed packed into this book! Impressive! And a fun read!
 
I went to Amazon and downloaded the "free sample" for Kindle. It was the old first edition, not the second. So the Kindle edition is not the updated version. (The first edition is 2013).
