Learned something new here: Stocks were typically of oak, and could be constructed in halves. Very interesting.
I wonder what it would take to get Shigeo Sugawa to have his book reprinted.

Good video! Even though it’s not his area of expertise, I enjoy his muzzleloader videos. I think that’s also the first time I’ve actually heard someone say “petronel”.
