Just finished this English fowler for a client and thought I would see how this new camera would work. The gun has a 44" 20ga.swamped Colerain barrel, chambers lock in a walnut stock.

Ya know, the walnut threw me! I was thinking "what is WRONG with that wood -- I can't place my finger on it." 'course it wasn't MAPLE is what was "wrong." LOL

Very nice. What (waterproof?) lock is that?

I am checking out some old fowler posts to get an Idea on what I want on mine, I really like the buttplate on this fowler and will probably have it on mine, what buttplate is it? Looks like a #19800 from the Muzzleloader Builder Supply book. Thanks.

Very envious of your client!

James, that looks like the buttplate you mentioned, but with a little engraving - pretty sharp looking!
