Front Sight Installation

I would like to see someone do a "blind" test - have an experienced shooter sight down the barrel with the sight on slope forward, then slope backward. Don't let shooter know which is which. Then see if the shooter can tell you by sighting which way sight is. Seems to me the sight picture is the same either way.

The difference is the amount of light gathered on the surface. Too much light, flare makes taking a good sight more difficult.
