I have a Ruger Old Army stainless for sale. It is in very good shape - cleaned and oiled to go. It currently has the original nipples on it - I do have 6 nipples for shooting #11 caps. I will include them when I send. Please take a look at the pictures and will answer any questions that you do have.
The price is $825 which includes shipping. If you would like insurance added to it - let's discuss how much.

I am not going through a FFL. When I purchased this off of gunbroker - that is what I did - sent a copy of DL and they sent to me.

The Ruger Old Army, like all of the other cap and ball pistols do not need to go thru a FFL dealer or anything else unless the person getting the gun lives in a few States that might require it. Most don't.

As Moderator, I do not like to see any seller in the Classified Ad/s asking for personal information like a Drivers License Number.

Any exchange of information concerning personal information should do it by PM.

Zonie I just had Rock Island Auction actually returned a paymet for a won auction that included an ROA. They absolutely refused to send it to me, and I live in florida that has no hinky BP laws. The dealer I use had just had a stroke and I told his kids I wouldn't send anymore guns there for a while. People are so afraid of the government at this point that they just kneel whenever they think the master might need them to.

Most likely this was required for proof of age. Federal law states you must be over 18 to purchase black powder firearms and a state driver's license is the usual document asked for with online sales. It isn't used for anything other than that.

Rock Island Auction is located in Illinois and they have a state law that treats all ML's the same as modern firearms. Several cities such as New York also treat them as such and require an FFL transfer. California considers them as "Modern" firearm since they are not a copy of any particular original such as a replica Colt 1860. Gets very confusing.
