I have had one I got from R. E. Davis 15 + years ago. A quality piece. Holds an edge really well.
The only drawback is that it is a very light-duty axe, marginally light for serious chopping of saplings or limbs larger than about 2 1/2” or 3” in diameter, but works well splitting light kindling; and cutting up meat sometimes.
I have been pretty happy with mine for light work.
 
We need an update! What did you decide on?
Got the October Country. The handle had a really nasty shellack sort of finish…stripped it with oven cleaner and gave it a couple coats of oil.

Looks great. Handles great, even holds a good edge. Have already disassembled a couple of deer with it

Still looking for another for my son if anyone has one they are not using.
