I have a small lock to assemble pretty soon that I guess I could do.

This lock I actually broke the half cock notch :redface: :cursing: so I had to make a new one, but it actually worked better than the casting they sent (before it broke).

150 to 170 yds. we changed the powder charge from 80grns to 120 grains with no noticable difference in range. Need to add more weight to the tennis ball, thinking of backing off on the powder charge and filling the ball with caulk.

I bet a tennis ball "loaded" with chalk would weigh over 1/4 pound and would make that thing kick like a mule. :grin:

With my luck, if I were to load up a chalk ball and fire it, it would work just like I predict. When the ball hit it would break making a huge cloud of "smoke". Shortly after that, the Sheriff's car would pull up and they would arrest me for firing explosive shells. "But officer...it was only chalk dust! Honest! It really didn't explode!!" "Ya, sure buddy... I know what I saw! You can tell that to the judge if you want to but he won't believe you either."
