My father-in-law " contracted" me to build a. 45 cal IHaines.I chose a parts set from ToW and I may restock a. 50 cal I built and is lacking a few architectual features I have since learned from videos & this forum.I also am getting things ( book & possibly a dvd) together to learn some engraving basics.

Well Fred, I only hope that I have the manual dexterity at 80 to still be building rifles.

:hatsoff:

As far as the question of future projects I have 6 pre-carves to do, they only have the barrel channel, ramrod groove, and basic shape done. A couple are in the white shootable.

As of this time I also have 6 blanks to do, one of which I am about to start the carving on. Once I finish up with the pre-carves I will get back on the blanks and will be very selective about working on another pre-carve if ever.
