I agree with Hanshi. You can try cold water first if the the blood is fresh and your pouch is waterproof (so the blood can't really soak in), but hydrogen peroxide will dissolve blood even if it has penetrated the fabric. The fresher the blood, the easier it is to remove, but the peroxide will dissolve dried blood, too, and it should disinfect your pouch. I don't think it will bleach or harm the fabric. I've used it to remove blood from my clothes and it has done no harm. The disinfection is a bonus.
