Muscogee Long Rifles turkey shoot is November the 18th and 19th in Cataula, Ga. Cataula is just north of Columbus. Y'all come on over and have some fun.

Closet is probably Brushy Creek in lenox Ga about a mile off I75 south of you. They have a 5 day rondy 3/20-24 this month. 28 acres with full hookups. Best way to check em out is facebook these days. Complete pics etc. Great friendly folks.

We live in Michigan and it’s 4 hr to friendship I try to make at least 1of the national shoots each year.

Don't know why I hadn't found this section before now. Newnan area is where I reside. Anything coming up this year?
I'm new too Ft. Oglethorpe area. Will be watching for info. .50 cva pistol here. Hope to take a deer with it. Recently acquired. Used to enjoy an 1858 Rem but helped out a guy. Might get another.

9/7 shoot at muscogee long rifles down in tataula about 20 minutes north of columbus. See the flyer top of this page. They got web and facebook. They shoot monthly.....nice folks nice setup.
 
Muscogee Longrifles in Cataula, GA (just a little north of Columbus), usually shoots on the second Saturday of each month. With an annual shoot in November (lots of great prices available. A good number of us are going up to Friendship in September, so the shoot is slipped to the third Saturday.

Correct that! Muskogee Longrifles will hold their September match on September 7, with first shot at 0900! Hope to see you there!
 
There are folks that shot informally there I believe. Not a member there. We have a formal group over at pickens county sportsman's club. Ours is www.trbps.com for info dates, history, videos, pics etc.
saw your post in the welcome area and will keep it in mind. I've been working on new loads for a few rifles but one of these days will get some of the older stuff out and might have questions.
