Ordered a Uberti Colt 1861 Navy, wads, balls.

Here's a good one you'll appreciate. I knew there was some weird "law" ini Massachusetts prohibiting sending any part which can be used to make a firing bullet. I found this out when I couldn't get brass sent to me (!)

Well, it appears that now there's some kind of law that prohibits lead balls from being shipped to Mass!!!

LEAD BALLS! Cabela's won't do it and Midway won't do it.

Lucky the place I bought my gun from sees no problem with sending the pistol and the lead balls.

Now I've got to find some place that sells #10 caps and will ship to me. The good place doesn't carry them. Anybody know who does carry caps?

I got a lot of #11, but that won't help me now (no, I don't want to change the nipples to use 'em)

I can`t believe the dumb-ass laws that some of these states have. I guess I was just lucky to be born & raised in the free state of Pa, & now retired & live in the free state of NC.

Try the 11's when your pistol arrives as they just may work. In Texas Gander Mountain , Bass Pro and most other places carry caps. At least the states are small and you can drive to one that the voters have some smarts! Geo. T. :surrender:

In NY and Jersey you cant even pump your own gas. I am suprised you dont have to wear a helmant and body armor 24 hours a day.

Fact is its a great thing you cant get ready made balls, now you get to lean how to mold your own. Its a blessing not a curse.
