Good grief. I'm sure glad I read this thread before I invested. Thanks to all who shared their experiences with TVM. I ain't going that direction at all. Looks like a NW Chief Grade for me.
I have a 20 bore (.62 cal) NSW Chief's grade with a 36" barrel and it is a nice lightweight gun for carrying all day in the mountains here. Having the proper taper to the barrel makes for a gun that handles like a dream!

You can still go to TVM or Track or MBS for your rifle or fowler, You would just have to buy the proper barrel and have them use it instead of what they offer, They do give you a credit for it but I don't know if it would cover the entire cost of their barrel.

Northstar West was indeed down for a bit however, it seems to be pack up. The dropdowns were wonky on me but i found I could select guns if I right clicked on "Catalog" then double clicked on the gun.
Must be my computer as I cant get the dropdown box to work either. It disappears a split second before I can click on anything.
