With difficult times you have to think outside the box and low and behold I got some plastic caps. A 100 for like $5 your money they come via eBay and are for kids blank firing guns ,and other toys they are a bit smaller so a thin nipple is needed or modified. And yes they make a big bank.

I tried those toy caps could not get them to work

Can't wait to see that guy at our local gun show selling plastic bottles of GOEX for $50/lb. and telling every who complains "They dont make this stuff anymore" - I got some news for ya buddy!!
Besides the fact that ALL his ammo was grossly Overpriced...which is why I bought my GOEX from the old guy in the corner for $25/lb. and my other from a guy at the next table for $35/box of 50 (still over price as it was $19 for 50 before the Virus...but still better the $80 for 50 the con guy wanted!)

Right next to the Jukar Hawken that was attributed to Daniel Boone and the Italian brass framed .44 Navy that was carried by Jeff Davis himself!

I dont see where that makes a difference being not one company making the unmentionable powder went out of business and you still cant get most powders. the problems is 70-80 year old hoarders

The 70-80 year old hoarders? You mean the ones who had the foresight to stock up on critical components like powder and caps? I can't help it if the young bucks can't see past today. You say hoarders like it a bad thing. The huge difference is experiences in life.

No, it's supply and demand. Due to the shortage of factory ammo, many shooters are switching to reloading. Every time a anti-gun administration is in office, sales of guns goes up. Along with it, the purchase of a ammo. The ammo plants can only produce so much. When people find scarce ammo, they grab it up, even at inflated prices. Powder, and especially primers, are a scarce commodity for the foreseeable future. If it's on the shelf, you better act quickly, or it's gone. This kind of makes everyone a hoarder.
I bought powder and primers in between the Obama and Biden admins when the prices were normal, and supply was no issue. I knew it would happen again. It was just a matter of time. I was in the Boy Scouts. Be prepared!

I think people buying more than they are going to use in a reasonable period of time is a solution to a problem, and also a cause of the same problem.
