We know the cause of the closure which has nothing to do with agencies, government or otherwise. Unless you would like to provide an article or source explaining why the BP industry is directly been affected by them?

It could just simply be lack of interest in our Niche hobby of antique weapons, and a factory fire.
The old time, Mountain man, long hunter, reenactor types are not being replaced as quickly anymore! The kids are too wrapped up in on-line pursuits and Hollywood seems to have lost much interest in the genre!

The decision, according to Hodgdon, came down to profit and loss and had nothing to do with the fire. Black Powder was not profitable so they are considering offers from prospective buyers who are already in the business according to a YT interview I heard today.

Actually THAT is the story NOW...., How many days after the announced shutting down of the plant at the end of December 2021, did the narrative switch from them simply ending GOEX to "phasing out" of black powder manufacture, as well as "searching" for a buyer. I think it's about 10 days of negative reaction and then the VP from Hodgdon did the podcast interview.
