i recently got a full set of marks videos and must say im very impressed with them. they are a good complimentary set to his books, a pilgrims journey, and i have really leaned from watching them. pioneer video did a good job with the filming. i had seen their hershel hose video on gun building and liked it well enough to order it and the 5th longhunter video by john curry. looking thu my crazy crow catalog i also found these videos, dress and equipage of the montain man 1820-1840 and skills of the mountain man, both with wes houseler and jeff henesbaugh. i am thinking about buying them as well. any of yall seen these? as far as i can tell these 2 have been in production for some time now. my wife also bought me a copy of shawn websters book, in the image of aj miller. it is a good visual aide for folks who like the fur trade time period. figoured these videos and book would keep me in something to do cause now with the time change it gets dark like 10 minutes after i get home so any kind of wood, bone or antler work ill do will be out till weekends, wife dont like the smells in the house. hoping to have a shop sometime in the future, but now ill have to make do with my front porch.
