I have a question...I have a GPR in percussion with a hunter barrel. I would like to replace the lock and barrel to convert it to flint. Will the lock drop in the stock or will I have to do some work to the stock for the different lock?

The percussion lock on my GPR dropped right in to the mortise on my GPR flintlock but the flintlock wouldn't go right in to the percussion mortise. It looks like there would be some wood work to do. Since you are changing barrels too, the pan should line up with the vent liner.
I've found Lymans Customer Service to be very helpfull. Give them a call and see what they say and let us know because this question seems to come up with some degree of regularity.

I was going to do this years ago, then I realized that it would cost almost as much as a new shooter.

I thought about the cost factor as well, but my plan is to sell the percussion lock and hunter barrel. I don't hunt with it and I prefer round balls over the conicals.
