i have not seen that on my green mountain barrels. usually a circle with a couple mountains therein. put this less offensive pic up .

if i could find them i would replace most of my rifles with a Green Mountain. i have had nothing but good results with them, though sometimes the lands are sharp enough to slice the patches. easy fix.
Same with "unmentionables". GM makes products of quality a notch or two above their price point, in my experience.
GM barrel are the only ones I never had to lap.
100 shots and they were slick as snot on a brass door knob.
