And a drum for the nipple. Make sure the barrel you buy has it already installed. Much more better that way.

I would have to argue, that considering how long the T/C Hawken has been around and how many black powder shooters get their start with this very gun, that it has entered the halls of the classics.


That is certainly and opener to a big debate on the word "classic". In a sense the TC not-really-a-Hawken rifle has become iconic in the world of modern muzzle loading. It contributed in a big way to the avocation revival. I feel sure not many here have not had, at least, some experience with one during their ml careers. I'm not ready to give it the "classic" award yet, but I think "iconic" is accurate at this point in time.
