Hello from south of Hannibal. Stick around & contribute/ask questions. There are a number of knowledgeable personages who inhabit this wild and crazy forum. Some are even sober when loafing at their computers.

Live just south of the lake of the Ozarks, not sure where Milam is, but I'm going to look it up. Right now I'm building an AR-10 in .308, but afterward, I will get a muzzle-loader in .45 cal, and I'm here to learn as much as possible before I buy or build.
I have a 160-acre farm up that way mainly used to hunt on and the town is spelled Milan.

Hello,
I am an aspiring gunsmith, and muzzle-loaders are in my top 5 firearms. Casting has become a new interest, and I am looking forward to learning from those who have real-world experience. I am a new hunter, and I want to continue the traditions laid down before us. Any help or advice is always welcome.

Thank you
Lotsa good tips on this site! Just ask and somebody has an answer or two.
