Hello All,
I've been lurking in the shadows for sometime now and only recently decided to register as a member. I'm richly blessed to call Alaska my home for the last 29 years and have been into burning black powder in smokepoles for several years. I extend my hand in friendship to all on this website, if you share my love for the smell of powder burning...we have much in common. Here's to a great summer 2019 yet to come.

Take a drive to Ft. Union (NW North Dakota) for the Rendezvous or the Last Bell Tour if you have the chance...

So, are you far enough North to see white bears? That is in my bucket list before I depart, to see a Polar bear in the wild.
I just read where in the last 30 years the population has quadrupled due to limiting hunting. I guess the bears have failed to watch CNN or they would not be doing so well.....

(Sorry mods, did not intend to be political here)

Welcome to the Forum, both of you! Everybody on here loves blackpowder, even the guys who can't get it.

Wife and I drove and hiked around for 3 weeks in Alaska several years ago. Loved it! Definitely want to go back.
North Dakota is one of 5 states we haven't been to...yet. We will. And Thank You for your Service.
