Does anyone know the name of the company that makes modern-type gun cases specifically for muzzleloaders? I think Roundball posted a link once...

If you are looking for an aluminum airline approved case. 2nd Amendment Products sells them.

I bought one of the soft cases offered by the Log Cabin shop and find it to be an excellent product for transporting my longrifle in a vehicle.

Wow! Such a deal!! I have made several for my muzzleloading rifles. I have made them of canvas with a blanket material lining. I have a leather strap and brass buckle closure. I can't make mine for what they are charging for a product that, while not necessarily PC, is superior to what I make. If you just need a protective case to transport your rifle in, I would grab one...or two or three of these cases. :thumbsup:

Own a 66" long case from "unique"
There is an exterior rod compartment 55" long sewn on the outside.
With handle. Nice case.

I have eyeballed the Unique Musket cases for three years and tonight I pulled the trigger and ordered one for my Lyman GPR.

I also have recently ordered a Unique musket case. Custom size 69". Had to pay slightly more than their price for standard sizes. Not easy to find a case for a trade gun with a 54" barrel! :grin:
